Last night Caer-Glow were immensely proud to not only hand over a cheque to the Doddie Weir Foundation who are currently cycling from Melrose in Scotland all the way to Dublin, but also spent the night at our club house.

The incredible team of riders left Leeds yesterday morning and arrived in Gloucester last night. They got to experience the wonderful hospitality of our bowls club and enjoyed a breakfast cooked by our Captain, Maureen Richards-Smart and Secretary, Sara Shortland this morning.

We wish the riders well on the next leg of the journey and to be able to help them during their magnificent challenge has been an honour for us a bowls club.
